Theatre on the Lake, Yellowknife, 2013

Open Auditions – Last Open Call – Tuesday May 21st.

Theatre on the Lake is a One-Act Play Festival that takes place on Frame Lake behind the Prince of Wales Heritage Centre in Yellowknife.

This summer’s run will be from July 24-28, 2013.
Actors interested in auditioning should contact us at our email to schedule an audition slot although walk-ins are welcome. Auditions will be taking place in the Yellowknife Library meeting rooms from 5:30 pm to 9pm on Tuesday May 21st.

Lunchpail Theatre is preparing for this summer’s run of Theatre on the Lake (July 24-28). We are looking for Directors interested in contributing to this summer’s event. The festival is an annual celebration in Yellowknife and takes place on a floating stage behind the museum on Frame Lake with lunchtime and evening shows. Each year the festival involves a combination of some of our best known actors and directors from Yellowknife and many newcomers trying their hand at community theatre for the first time. Everyone is welcome.

Calls for actors will go out in a few weeks. Script reviews begin May 8th. We can help interested directors in finding scripts that fit the festival as well. If you are interested in finding out more about directing please drop us an email here or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lunch-Pail-Theatre/341656512523068
